1

What is CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol, one of over 100 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive and does not contain the molecules that get people high (it’s safe). For the past decade, CBD has been gaining traction in the medical community — professionals recommend CBD as a natural solution to help patients with various health conditions.

2

Will Nora’s products get me high?

No, Nora’s broad spectrum CBD Oil is non-psychotropic, which means it does NOT get you high. It’s legal in all 50 states.

Oils & Tinctures

1

I have never used CBD oil, which product should I buy?

We have three CBD potency options — 500mg, 1000mg, and 1500mg. The higher the potency, the stronger the serving will be. We usually suggest the 500mg option for beginners — it’s best for those new to CBD and experimenting with serving size. For daily users, we recommend either the 1000mg or the 1500mg option. The only difference is how long your supply lasts.

2

How long does this take to work?

Depending on your body, you should start feeling some potential benefits within 7-21 days of daily use. This is because once broad spectrum CBD Oil enters the bloodstream, it starts to interact with the endocannabinoid system. After about a week, the body receives cumulative whole-body benefits. These benefits are usually related to hormonal balance, anxiety, sleep, pain, and the underlying causes of various chronic conditions.

Skincare

1

What causes eczema?

It is usually caused by a combination of genetic factors and triggers to the immune system, for example, contact with irritants or allergens. In cases where it appears, the skin barrier isn’t functioning as well as it should be — microscopic cracks cause the skin to become inflamed and dehydrated. This is why it is vital to feed the skin with nutrients that provide a protective layer and nourish it with moisture.

2

What causes acne?

Sometimes, dead skin cells and oil block hair follicles. This allows bacteria to grow, causes inflammation and irritation, and creates a climate for acne. Acne can show up in many forms — whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and cysts. Hormones can also cause it during female menstrual cycles or the teenage years.

3

How does zinc oxide reduce inflammation in the skin?

Zinc oxide helps effectively protect the skin by reducing the production of sebum oil and soothing inflammation. This, in turn, helps the healing process during acne treatment. Zinc can also balance the mix of good and bad microbes in harmony and acts as an antioxidant that can calm the skin.

4

How does silver oxide help remove bacteria from skin?

Silver oxide has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It attaches to the cellular wall of the bacteria, penetrates into its cell, and disrupts the bacteria's metabolic processes, leading to its death.

5

How long does this take to work?

Rejuvenating your skin, ensuring optimum sebum oil production, and unclogging your pores may take some time. While many see a difference immediately, some don’t—and that’s okay. It’s what’s happening inside the skin cells that counts. The natural ingredients (like zinc oxide, silver oxide, salicylic acid, CBD, peppermint oil, shea butter, or tea tree oil) get to work to help protect your skin from acne by aiming at the root of the problem. All in all, it can take 2-3 months for your skin to show significant improvement.

Pain Relief Ointment

1

What is a CBD ointment for pain relief?

A few different topical formats can be made with CBD, including ointments. We produce these with oils extracted from the hemp plant and then infused into a topical base, adding many other beneficial ingredients such as beeswax, jojoba oil, menthol, and others. Like CBD oil, the CBD ointment interacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the endocannabinoid system, may help to provide pain relief.

You’re safe with any amount applied, but the more you use, the more CBD content you’re going to apply, so we recommend being generous with it. There isn’t a maximum amount of CBD that you can use, so try experimenting with it.
